General
International Practice Group (IPG) is an international non-profit association of independent Lawyers, Accountants, Tax Advisors and Mergers & Acquisitions specialists.

Our members include quality and proactive law firms, accounting firms and tax advisors all of which are dedicated to serving their international clients’ needs. History
IPG was founded in 1988 under the name International Practice Group (IPG). In 1992, the Group merged with EULEX and continued under the name EULEX IPG. In order to express our new mission statement and further sustain our current growth of members beyond the EU borders, our association changed its name to International Practice Group again in 2006. In January 2009 IPG merged with Picatrex, an international organization comparable to IPG with members all over Europe. The merger not only provided a growth in numbers, but also covered of additional countries as well as complementary services in countries we were already active in.

Organizational structure
As a non-exclusive multinational association, we currently have over 110 member firms, combining more than 2,500 professionals throughout the world. IPG is managed by a Board of Directors, supported by an Advisory Committee and Ethics Committee. Our Members' Coordinator oversees all member-related operations.  Our members meet at least twice a year during the spring and autumn conferences alternately held in different cities and hosted and organized by members.

Signature of a Memorandum of Cooperation with SARIO – Bratislava 18th October 2019

IPG signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with SARIO on the occasion of the last Autumn Conference in Bratislava in October 2019. SARIO (Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency) is a government agency established in the Slovak Republic in 2001, which works under the direction of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. The mission of the agency is to increase the influx of foreign investment while promoting Slovak companies in their effort to transform into high-performance subjects successful in the globalized world market. Assist in the process of Slovakia´s transformation to the business - technology- innovation - talent center of Europe and to become the preferred partner of companies contemplating investment in Central Europe.

SARIO received the following awards "Fastest-growing Investment Promotion Agency in Europe in 2003" and "Best European Investment Promotion Agency in High-Tech Award" at the World Investment Conference in La Baule, France 2007.

LEX Africa signed a MOU with International Practice Group

LEX Africa and IPG have signed a non-exclusive memorandum of understanding in order to further develop and strengthen our relationship.
